ABOUT US
The Hopscotch Foundation along with local baseball fans and supporters have come together to support underserved kids in gaining access to a game that has excluded them.
Extra Innings League: Albina Baseball/Softball, is an opportunity for underserved kids to participate in a game that requires specific resources to play.
North and Northeast Portland have a rich history of youth baseball, and we want to revive it. Our goal is to ensure that no one is excluded. Other leagues are predicated on zip codes, and we have no boundaries. Anyone can participate in Extra Innings. Our goal is to provide access.
We are building a platform with multiple levels of learning for the co-ed baseball/softball game. We want to provide vetted mentors for our youth to learn from, something we consider to be a crucial missing component of our society.
We are happy to offer a THIRD annual co–ed baseball/softball season at no cost for participants and all equipment provided.
